Traditional Morris Events: St George's Day

The 23rd of April is St George's Day in England; St George is the patron saint of England and of a few other places as well - see this Wikipedia page for more information about St George.

This list is far from complete; during the last few years and especially since the year 2000 there has been an upsurge in interest in celebrating a 'National Day' for England.

Ashdown Forest MM: St George's Day - Queen's Arms, Cowden Pound, 7pm
Traditional Ilmington Morris Dancers: The George Inn at Lower Brailes. It always occurs on 23rd April, irrespective of day of week.
Kennet MM St Georges Day Heritage Skills Fair, The Vine (National Trust) near Basingstoke Sunday 22nd April
