IOV Southern Europe would like to inform IOV members and friends, that in Aksehir of Turkey, 
the 9th International Dance and Music Festival will be held, 4-8 July 2008.

Conditions:
-----------

* Each invited group should take its own responsibility for the international flights.

* The festival committee will provide meals, accommodation, local transportation 
(From ANTALYA airport - Aksehir-Antalya airport) and interpreters for invited group, 
during the festival.

* The total members in each group will be max. 35 persons including performers, 
musicians and directors *Dancers must be all adults

* Live music.

 Dear Sir / Madam
 Every year we are organazing this festival with the participation of
 five(5) different countries.This year we will organize 8th one.
 Antakya city is a unique governance which has the second biggest
 mosaic museum in the world, the first cavern church and the first
 mosque built in Anatolia and where the first olimpic games held.
 Antakya is an ancient city which three celestial religions –
 Christians, Jewish and Muslim, intersect and meet.


 International Antakya folk dance Festival

 This festival aims to show our culture and beauty to foreign people,
 moreover to enable our citizens to enjoy the dances of foreign
 countries.

 Date of festival: The festival will take place between July 18 and
 24. All groups will be in Antakya on 18th of July and leave on 24th
 of July.

 Accommodations: All groups will stay in student-hostels. breakfast,
 lunch and dinner will be supplied for groups and while groups
 leaving from Antakya, sandwich and something to drink will be given.

 Transportation and transfer: If the groups ravel by plane to Adana
 or Hatay, they will be taken from Adana or Hatay airport and they
 will turn back with our busses to Adana or Hatay airport from
 Antakya. If they travel by bus, they will come by their bus to
 Antakya.


 Performance program: All groups will perform two times every day: 5
 minutes and 20 minutes. All groups have to join opening ceremony.

 Music:you can perform with live music or with a CD(inform us about
 it)

 Payments: no payment will be done to groups but 200lt motorin will
 be given to the groups which travel by their own bus (to use in
 Antakya)


 Maximum participant is 40 (dancer,musician,driver,director and etc;)

 SPECIAL CONDITIONS:THIS FESTIVAL IS ADULT AND YOUNG FESTIVAL NOT A
 CHILDIREN FESTIVAL(min. age 16 )
